NEW: Front-end (XHTML, CSS & Javascript) Developer
Mercurytide are looking for a developer with expert knowledge of XHTML, CSS & Javascript to join their growing web development team.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for producing the front-end on a variety of web-based projects, with the opportunity to learn about back-end development (using Django & Python) should they so desire.
Technical skills (required):
- Experienced XHTML, CSS & Javascript programmer
- A good understanding of accessibility and Web Standards
Technical skills (advantageous)
- Experience working with Javascript libraries, such as Prototype, MooTools & JOquery.
- Some knowledge of PHP or Python and related technologies, including SQL and XML.
- Experience of other web technologies such as Java, Flash, etc.
- Graphical design skills working with Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator etc.
