Background
RAN Jobs combines the vacancies of some of the UK's most successful recruitment agencies on one site. This means that users have a central location to search for the perfect job and don't need to search through and register with many different sites.
RAN Jobs vacancies are also constantly updated from member databases, ensuring that RAN Jobs has no stale or out of date adverts.
Our approach
As this was an entirely new company with no previous web site or branding, our graphic designers designed the RAN Jobs logo and established a strong, stylish and corporate brand for the web site and print materials.
A very powerful search was required to allow users to easily find the right jobs easily when searching the databases of many different recruitment sites. We created intuitive sorting options to display the results in various orders of relevance as well as the ability for users to apply for multiple jobs, upload their C.V. and receive regular email job alerts with similar jobs.
We had to think about how the site would reach a lot of people as the competition for high rankings on search engines with recruitment sites is high. Mercurytide performed a full search engine optimisation audit on all areas of the site and content and implemented various techniques that have had dramatic effect to the rankings.
