Our Content Management System (CMS) allows you to focus on the information on your site, while maintaining a consistent style so you don't have to worry about how the pages look. It provides the ability to add new pages, edit existing ones and alter the main text on the site, all through an intuitive interface. Our page-editing interface lets you edit and format pages just like you were using a word processor.
Having large amounts of text on a page can make it difficult to read so it is a good idea to break it up with images, links or even provide PDF documents to download; all of which can be easily added through our CMS.
Improve your search engine ranking
You have full control over the page headings, page titles, keywords, page descriptions and the web address (URL). All of which can aid your climb up the search engine rankings for various terms.
Organise your sitemap
As well as editing the content of your site, you can also control the structure of your site's pages - Simply drag the pages into the correct order and the changes are replicated on the live site! If people regularly visited a page on your old site but the page has changed location on your new site, no problem - just add a redirect from an old page to a new one.
Our content management system will generate and update your website's sitemaps each time you make any amendments:
- Visitors Sitemap - This page is common to most websites and allows visitors to see the full range of pages available to them from your website; without having to click on every page to search for every link.
- Sitemap.xml - This is a data file that lists the pages on your website. It is used by search engines to help ensure they pick-up every page and get it indexed.
Training
Our systems are intuitive enough that most users can pick them up without any training but all our standard systems come with a user guide too.
We do provide training for those who wish to get the very best out of their website. When editing your websites content your staff should be aware of search engine optimisation (SEO) and accessibility - two key ingredients to a successful website.
