Our project management method is a combination of industry standards (PRINCE 2), years of experience and tried and tested processes.

 

From the very start of the project you might have dates in mind for the project to be completed by. We will work with you throughout the project to help achieve these goals.

Throughout the life cycle of any project there is more than just ‘development' to do. Our project managers experienced in delivering complex bespoke solutions.

Our project manager will undertake the role required to guide you through the project and manage it for you from concept to implementation. 

Mercurytide have a tried and tested internal development process consisting of 12 steps and 43 sub steps. Although this might seem a lot, we are experts in our field and we know exactly how to develop great solutions. We take your complex business needs and deliver a holistic service.

Once the project is underway you'll see the multiple steps in completing your site are interlaced with communication points between you and Mercurytide. We keep you involved at all the key steps, making sure you're happy with our progress and the website is coming together as you thought it would. 

The 3 key stages

It's a bit like following a recipe; if you don't do it right or miss any of the steps it could turn out disastrously, but luckily you're working with the master chef's to hold your hand and make sure it's done perfectly.

We take care of the complexities of building your solution, producing detailed project plans with timescales for each part of your development and making sure the project keeps momentum and the following key stages are correct:

• Business requirements
  Our business analysts will come up with a solution that will meet your business objectives. Creating a business requirements document detailing exactly what your development needs to succeed

• Graphic design
  What will it look like? Once we know what's to go into the development we work with you to create graphics of the key pages based on a graphic design brief created with you.

• Interactive HTML
  Before we develop the core system that drives your website we build a series of pages to demonstrate how the site will look and feel (we call it the interactive mock-up). We don't waste any of the software code used here; the layouts are used in the final site. We use this step to preview how the site will work and how usable it is.
